I’m very new to the glowforge AURA and wondered if it can cut white proofgrade vinyl?
Yes, there is a Proofgrade setting for Eco White Iron-On for the Aura. I assume that is the material you are referring to. If it’s any other source of “vinyl” you need to be extremely careful. Many of them are made from PVC (these are primarily the traditional permanent vinyls) instead of the polyurethane ones used for Heat Transfer Vinyl, which Eco White Iron On is. Any PVC based vinyls will destroy your laser due to offgassing of hydrogen chloride, a very corrosive gas.
