I know that there’s a particular order that you have to do for the filter to work properly. I had that happen once with my Spark (very similar to the Aura, except or material cutting size, as the Spark is a little smaller and doesn’t have passthrough). I had to unplug both the filter and the Spark, then plugged them back in with plugging the Spark in first, and then the filter. The filter automatically recognizes and connects to the Spark, so it automatically turns on whenever I print. My filter does run an extra few seconds/minute after cutting to exhaust any remaining fumes.
Does your filter light come on when you cut something? When I realized mine wasn’t working, I realized I not only didn’t hear it, but that the light was off. I found that I can make it run, and even at a higher speed if I’m cutting something that produces more smoke like wood instead of just paper, just by pressing the filter button once (low), twice (medium), or three times (high). But after I unplugged/replugged both the Spark and the filter, it works just fine.
Hope it starts working for you so you can really enjoy your Aura.
