Aura venting question

Say folks, anyone who has an Aura and can answer this?

I’ve got the personal filter and I like it but it’s noisy. Since my Aura is placed right in front of a window, I thought I’d try venting it out the window for quieter operation, and also to save filter media. I want to use a similar window vent adapter to what I use on my Glowforge (in a different room), but it’s got a little spring operated damper in it, and I’m not sure the aura fan is powerful enough to move the damper. Is anyone else using something similar that is working for them?

This is the adapter I want to use. Worst case, I could just remove the damper since there will be a blast gate in-line anyway.

I’d remove the damper since you have a blast gate.

That’s interesting…I have been wondering the same thing. Until we moved into our apartment, I was actually using an identical vent to that in our old house… only in a vertical position because I had to vent out of an old sliding window. I guess if I end up wanting vent out with the Aura, you will see me on here again asking for help from someone else who’s done it…maybe you. :grinning:
