Battery Station

Life has thrown me a series of curve balls the last month or so that haven’t left me nearly as much time as I’d like to work with the Glowforge. Finally had some time today with no obligations and decided to make some simple storage for AA batteries.

It’s a pretty simple battery dispenser with room for 16 AA batteries, split between charged and uncharged. This one is cut out of medium draftboard.

So on my to do list. I’ll just add slat wall hangers.

Not asking, we don’t do that here  but you’d kinda be a hero if you put the cut files in the free plans section.

Sure thing!

It could use some refinement, but feel free to use or adapt it to suit your needs.

Refining other people’s good ideas is kind of a specialty of mine. Thanks!

Is that Proofgrade medium draftboard? Or just draftboard that you had (if so what settings if I may ask?) Looks great BTW

Yep, that’s :proofgrade: medium draftboard. I love that stuff so much.

yeah, depending on shipping, i’m very interested in playing with that, honestly; dealing with larger sheets of local mdf can be a pain.

Perfect! Really great solution. I like how the draftboard looks.

What a practical project to take charge of. Great design - your font is very fitting, too
