Belt tension wheel

My belt tension wheel for the head came off while I was cleaning my machine and I cannot get it to screw back in. I’ve tried an Allen key, star key etc. It just pushes right up and falls right back out like there is nothing to thread into am I missing something. I don’t know what else to try.

Lay a mirror on the bed so you can see the underside! You will see a metal strip that sits under the carriage. That strip has a threaded hole for the bolt to screw into. It probably just slid out of the way while you were cleaning the machine. With the mirror, you should be able to see it and slid it to the right so the bolt hole is visible so you can screw the pulley back on.

Thank you. That is exactly what it was.

Hello! That was a great suggestion @swmisher. I’m going to close this thread - if the problem reoccurs, go ahead and post a new topic. Thanks for letting us know about this!
