Biggest glowforge project to date

Looks awesome! I love big projects like this.

Great work.

Yes, I do think that’s the largest one to date! Can’t wait to see the finished result!

EPIC project…looks acešŸ‘Œ

Love the project. Are you willing to share the files?

Soooo I guess you need a FB in order to view your progress pictures via your FB link, so if you have the time to continue to post the progress here it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

A single tile is about 2 hours. And I need 280 tiles

Hello scotta, I can share the files. I will have to arrange the peaces a bit better as now it’s a puzzle only I would understand. But I can rearrange it and make some kind of instruction manual.

I only used FB because the video was to big for the GF Forum. But I will be posting here most of the time.
But it can go slow as I have to do it in my spare time. And the house it’s intended for will be ready in a year. So I have plenty of time.

All the parts made till now clear coated for protection and the skin sides already painted.

Next step before the final fixing is an other test fit to check the paint didn’t screw up my tight fitting.

Thanks, that would be fantastic!

Incredible! Bonus points for the sticktoitivness required to complete such a large undertaking!

Absolutely no rush, I just didn’t want to miss out on the final product it’s looking amazing. Thank you for sharing this process with us

Gentle reminder. It is against the rules to ask for files.

That’s truly amazing, both in concept and design. Thinking big is a good thing, after all, many things are made of combined smaller pieces - I’m going to wait eagerly to see the finished item.

Marvelous! And really out of the box thinking!

Just woah, very very cool! Can’t wait to see the end result!

holy cow, fascinating. best of luck!

Going faster than I expected. Just over 25% done now, finished 2 doors and about 1 meter of wall. Doing some test fitting after the painting and also checking which peaces I made to much of and which ones not enough. Lost the count a bit

Wow, it was cool before, but it’s exponentially cooler with paint!
