Broken clip for lid cable, no response from customer support

Has anyone ever replaced the little white clips the black lid cable attaches to? The middle clip that connects to the motherboard component snapped off and I haven’t heard back from customer support since the initial “we’re working on it” email. I couldn’t finish the items I was working on and after no response from them I ended up buying another brand of laser (that actually does more and is a lot quieter, but I still want to use my GF if I can fix it). Any suggestions on fixing it or getting support to respond? I won’t buy another GF, so unless I can fix the clip or replace something, I’m done with them.

Support will take a little time to respond. Those parts are not user-replaceable, so they are likely waiting to hear from the folks that assemble machines on when a replacement might be available.
