I noticed that the glowforge was acting weird and not printing properly. I then took a closer look and realized a wheel was broken. I see that this seems to be a huge issue.

I like that because you contribute to highlighting a recent issue. You are not alone which suggests a recent re-source for components is found lacking in design requirements.
Hang tight, the company will make it right, but ouch! - For both you and the company.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re run into trouble with the wheels on your Glowforge’s Carriage Plate. I’d be more than happy to have a replacement unit sent out as soon as one is available. I’ll close this thread, and reach out directly via email with the next steps.
