So I made a metal thing! (metal casting)

I was so inspired by Joker’s post that I had this delivered today My brain is spinning with all kinds of ideas, but I really have no clue what I’m doing. This was my first attempt and I used some wood with heavy grain to get and interesting texture and I also tried low LPI on some plywood to see what it would do.
