I was wringing my hands over whether or not to jump into the pre-sale - then I saw the Laser Lady who owned and operated two commercial lasers for years was in line for a glowforge, then I felt justified in my perception of its worth.
I knew nothing about lasers, but I knew she did!
Boy, does she!

Completely surprised when I commented elsewhere and saw I had a slice of cake! Iāve made it a year in the forums! I had never been a āpartā of a forum before, but I wanted to see what the updates were going to be when I would receive my Glowforge. I thought Iād only be able to last a month or two checking out the forums, but lo and behold, this place has some really neat people and the overall kindness and openness of everyone caused me to stay. Now it is my turn to celebrate a year here

Itās a fairly bad scene, not life threatening, but I donāt want to bring the forum downā¦hubs found out about it the day before, I only heard last night. (Last night really was a bit of a downer.)
