Camera didn't take picture at startup

Hello!

So…our Glowforge pro worked fine and suddenly an error of print head not found came up. We turned it off and cleaned inside.

Turned it back on and now it says the camera could t take a picture. I checked all cables and looks ok

Please help :frowning:

Have you specific unplugged and plugged in the white cable? Have you tried telling the machine to refresh the bed image?

I have u plugged an splurged back in the camera cable (white). I cannot refresh the bed image because this issue happens at startup, when GF is centering

Some say it is the black cable…but I highly doubt it

Do you have a picture of your app after 10 minutes of the GF running? There is a lot that is telling to see what the app shows. Some important information you might be leaving out is if the app says it it centering. The information provided so far is a good start but these machines are much more complex then I think people give them credit for (although they are not that complex if you spend the time to get familiar, which you should always do with any laser  )

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble with your Glowforge.

I’ve extracted the logs from your Glowforge and looked at the trouble you’ve been experiencing. The issues you’re seeing are caused by a poor connection with the cables on your lid.

Since everything is connected properly, it’s likely that the black cable on the lid has a problem. I’d like to send you a replacement for that cable, along with some instructions on how to replace it so we can get you back to printing as quickly as possible.

Since you’ve already placed the order, I’ll have my team refund you for the cost of the black lid cable.

When you receive the replacement, you can follow this link for the instructions to replace the black lid cable.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns!
