Camera won't capture image

Our glowforge pro is “stuck” on our last image, we have cleaned - rebooted-shut down-checked all lenses etc… nothing is working. The head isn’t moving either. We think its a cable issue, it was delivered on 12/24- not even a month of use and its broken down.

Hi makingsunshine. Welcome to the community!
It’s too bad you’ve run into a problem, but hang in there. Posting in Problems and Support will get the attention of GF staff and they will get back to you with some troubleshooting steps.
Meanwhile, check out more of the Community or work on your designs - it doesn’t have to be lost time :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you, we tried everything to get it back up and going it seems to be the print head or camera.

The last picture will always show up when it has not yet taken a new one, and that could be for a whole bunch of reasons. The white cable, the black cable, the cable to the camera. your wifi, etc. If you turn the machine off and put the heard to the rest position (upper left), and then turn it on and note the time and how far it gets from start to making a cut with photos of the ends of all those cables and when it stops would help support diagnose the issue.

Cleaning the lenses is always useful but not likely part of this issue.

The head isn’t moving at all. We checked all the connections reset the head, cleaned everything, hard re-start on wifi I’m at a loss. It’s misfiring somewhere.

That makes a cable likely, Support will have to look. use cell phone to take pictures of all the ends, and post here.

Hi there, thank you for the photos. It looks like we’ve already connected via email, so I’m going to go ahead and close this topic and we can finish up via email.
