I’m unable to install the “emotional support pickle” file. I have tried on multiple browsers and multiple devices. Can anyone help with this?
Where did the file come from? What file type is it?
Well, I assume they mean the one in the design catalog.
I’ve never used the catalog, but I believe there is nothing to “install”, once purchased, it shows up under “My Designs” in the UI. This shows some of the ones I got free in the beginning…
Yes, that’s what I mean. I have purchased several and they show up right away, but I’ve been trying since yesterday to purchase this one and it just spins and spins. I’ve tried on 2 different computers and multiple browsers.
Could be some weirdness on Glowforge’s end.
I meant the one in the design catalog. I have purchased several with no issues but this one I’m unable to purchase, it just spins and spins for 2 days now. Tried on 2 computers and several browsers.
Can you try on your phone?
I suspect it’s a problem with that particular file. I tried purchasing it and it never showed up in my dashboard. You might try reporting the design to Glowforge Support and explain the problem.
I too think it’s an issue with Glowforge, I’m unable to load it into my designs.
There you go!
Here - took me all of 5 minutes to make my own version, I want to make one for a few people and I won’t pay for such a simple design…
This pickle looks like a good therapist. I can imagine he’s wearing glasses and has a few hairs combed-over too.
Ooooh… thank you! A couple of the people I am making these for wear glasses, I’ve already printed a dozen but off to adjust and make a few more!
The new pickles:
Not sure why some are imperfect, but they are small enough I can print more than I need. Color is off but I am using Ultra Dye (I think it’s called “Viper”) to tint the wood before printing.
Thank you, these are hysterical…going to need to make a few!!
Here’s the pickle with glasses, if anyone needs it.
I gave away my first few last night, lots of laughs at very little expense.
These would make great little lapel pins. Thank you for the file.
I’m guessing the person trying to sell these in the catalog hates me now, but I can’t believe anyone would pay for such a simple design.
I think of it as like stocking a workshop with fantastic tools, then paying someone to come in and make things using your tools.
Or perhaps buying some great paints and brushes, then paying someone to come in and paint for you.
I gave away a few more this evening, to family and friends at trivia. Lots more chuckles…
