I reset internet
I checked all clips on cables
I did the center thing with the GF head under the camera
Cleaned all lenes
I just ran the PING

It looks like it might be the cable

I probably can not help you but I read something here at the community that helped me.
A few months ago—I was having one of those centering scanning focusing etc. issues. I do not remember which one it was.
Apparently light directly above the GF can bring up one of those situations. The sun was shining through windows and down into my GF. I closed my blinds and my problem was fixed.

I have a curtain in front of it but I will see if covering the top will help
My worry is I have no movement at all, only some clicking

Where are you located? I have a couple spare ribbon cables if you happen to be close by. Otherwise, support will get you straightened out.
I’m sorry that you’ve run into trouble with your Glowforge. Thank you for letting us know what you’ve checked so far. From what I can see in your unit’s logs along with the information that your lid cable is connected correctly, it’s likely that there is an issue with your unit’s lid cable.
I want you to have a reliable unit, so I’m recommending we send you a replacement cable. I’m closing this thread, I’ll be in touch via email soon to sort out the details.
