Cleaning pieces off of the crumb tray: use your shop vac

I’m doing some lanterns and the intricate design means that there are tons of tiny pieces left on the honeycomb when I lift the pieces off. I had been picking them up by hand, including the ones that were in the honeycomb and sticking up.

Today I noticed that my shop vac was sitting a few feet away, and cleaned up all the leftover pieces in about 10 seconds.

I bought this small one from Home Depot and it works great. I’ve already almost filled one bucket of “small waste bits”.
