Can you use your own text in glowforge or only thiers from inside the app?
The Glowforge UI/app is limited to Google’s entire catalog of 1500 fonts.
You can use any font you like if you create your design in a vector editor like Inkscape (free), Affinity Designer, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc. and, upload your file to the Glowforge UI/app as an SVG or PDF.
Note that you will need to convert your text to curves or rasterize it in most apps for it to work.

You can use your own fonts, and you can type your text in Word or Google Docs or Adobe and save as a pdf. You cannot, however, add your fonts to the Glowforge interface.
