I was prepared to not really like that. I generally don’t like wooden hinges. Turns out it’s actually pretty great, good find.
yeah, when i first saw the description, i was thinking, “meh,” but then i looked at the video and it’s actually pretty inventive. it’s definitely on my list to try.

That’s from Takurou Seino / Taku Woodcraft (@takuwoodcraft on Instagram). They post a lot of clever woodworking designs and techniques, including quite a few small boxes, and tools and jigs for making things. The videos are all very to-the-point, and show what’s happening clearly. I have noticed a lot of stuff that would translate to laser fabrication well. The account is really worth a follow if you are on IG.
