Creative Reuse Centers - what to do with extra supplies (or places you can get someone else's extra supplies)

Wanted to share this resource. I think it’s been a while since it came up on the forum (the old post I found from @geek2nurse is closed) but I found this list of US and International creative reuse centers.

Their purpose is great - keeping usable materials out of the landfill and providing access to people at discounted prices.

That is a great resource that I missed on the first posting but unfortunately none of these are anywhere close to me.

Oh that’s a bummer! I wonder if there are more that aren’t on the list.

Ooh, I knew about The Scrap Exchange, but not Reconsidered Goods an hour from me in Greensboro NC. Gonna have to make that a day trip some afternoon!

Thanks for the link. I found a place not too far away where my mom can donate a bunch of the sewing supplies she’s been wanting to clear out. Very helpful!

Wish I’d known about this before I surrendered my house. I had so much material, not only for laser, but also CNC, fabrics, etc.

All went into a dumpster…
