Nice work!!!
So I don’t quite grasp what is going on – did you cut the main body from several pieces, glue, then form? It kind of looks like veneer under the gun grips, which is what is throwing me
Nice work.
A cool detail for grips is another free file, a Diamond Knurl pattern, depth map courtesy of @mpipes. it is tileable.
Very nice!!
W🥰w! That’s awesome!
thanks for tip
I cut the pieces from 1/8 solid wood then glued them together then shaped them.
I’ve been working on a similar knife handle (Diresta blade) for some time, as in been pondering how to go about it. I have the mixed pack of a variety of 1/16" hardwoods from Rockler.
they should work great
I made this Halloween prop. Cut the handle out of .25" oak craft board and added diamond engraving for texture. Options for making other knife or pistol handles could be interesting, especially laminating different layers like you did.
Wow…looks pretty real, sharp too.
You need to find a cowboy action shooting club near your home and you would have lots of business.
That is a beautiful gun grip.
How did you shape it?
Looks pretty good
Oh hey, I could use this on some knife scales I’m making. Thanks
This is what I’m gonna do. Looks great!
