Cutting board settings for 1.69" high

I am trying to engrave a cutting board but everytime I try to set the manual settings. I get an error code which says:

Print Stopped. Unable to complete the print

Material thickness
Your material must be less than .5% tall with the tray in, or between 1.5 and 2" with the tray out.

The tray is out. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. What should the settings be?

Your GF measures from the height of the crumb tray so it doesn’t accept heights over .49". Instead of telling it 1.69" high, just use set focus to measure it automatically. :slightly_smiling_face:

I tried that also, but it still gives me an error.

Try putting a scrap of cardboard or wood under the cutting board and try it again. You MIGHT just be a weird height that the Glowforge doesn’t like. Boosting it up a bit, that might help.
