Cardboarding!

Decided to try a small stacked cardboard project. Used Autodesk Slicer for the breakdown. 3.7mm thickness, cut at 225/100. [image] [image] [image] [image]

Couldn’t help myself, so I tried something more complex (170 pieces). Sliced an STL (Hand by Teak - Thingiverse) and put it through Autodesk Slicer, and then tortured myself with assembly. 3mm Amazon shipping box. [image] [image] [image] [image] [image]

Cardboard Escalation

OK, so this may seem insane… A friend of mine runs a brewery, and its second anniversary is this weekend. He saw the stacked cardboard 3D hand I’d posted here and asked if I could do something similar with his logo. Some thought and 25 hours of work later, there’s this. It’s 3 feet wide and consists of 507 individual pieces cut from 4mm cardboard. The actual logo is included for reference.
