Ditto. Have never had the need to use fusion or any other product. I get a greater sense of pride and craftsmanship conceptualizing my builds. There are so many variations I can do now that I have a solid foundation to work with… me personally knowing the “layers” intimately help me with that. Fusion takes my left brain out of that equation :sunglasses:

Once things get complicated enough (articulating joints or unusual angles interacting) importing shapes into f360 for a bit of refinement can be a big time saver. Drawing complex shapes in f360 natively is a no-go.

For that, it might be only useful for layout and perhaps ribs, but I have been very impressed with what can be done with Freeship.

This is as close as I have come in a similar design shape…


but shows what results are possible.

Since moisture is a ca glue accelerator, if the planks have been soaked to produce the bowed shape, not only is accelerator probably not needed, I wouldn’t be surprised if the glue itself dries too quickly to even be useful in this case.
