sorry if this has been covered. i find it very difficult to search for help.
I am attempting to make a stamp with and svg file created in silhouette business. my file looks great in silhouette but when i open in GF the sections that were deleted in silhouette are there so i am unable to make the stamp. I wanted a wood grain so i traced and removed then deleted the extra part but it comes back.
I believe what you have created is a clip path or a mask which the interface does not recognize. I am not familiar with Silhouette, but others here that are will be able to help. While waiting, search the forum for “clipping path”.

The way to fix that is to make a bitmap image of the clip image, then freeze the clipped part and print that secondary image.
