If you are wondering about vector design programs, there are several options which include Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Design and Silhouette Business. There is another web based program (Cuttle) that has templates and tutorials specifically about laser cutting.

I would also invite those who tried it out a year ago, to have another look. Some new features that make design laser cut files easier.
- Copy and paste into the GFUI
- Color palette in the order of operations for GF users
- Google Fonts
- Remove overlapping lines or score
- Not destructive boolean unions (welds)
- Text on a path and fit to size
- Connected text, auto connect the dots over i and j (tittles) [it is, honestly
]

You have come to the right place. This forum has been in existence for over 7 years, and the participants are experienced in many different fields.
