Like it says in the title. When engraving, my Glowforge causes the design to zigzag. My theory is either the belt mechanism or the magnetic ribbon. Any advice?

Can you share a photo? It sounds like your carriage belt tension could be incorrect. Have you recently removed the carriage plate to clean the air assist fan?
