1/12th scale miniature - made entirely on my Glowforge
I got my local art/framing store to order top quality mountboard for me - treated it with a mix of sanding primer and thinners to strengthen it. I just love the ability to make âwrought ironâ furniture that the Glowforge has brought me!
That is amazing! Love it!!!
Beyond incredible!!!
That never would have occurred to me to try - just brilliant
Thatâs amazing. I love it! But I am such a sucker for miniatures.
I do have an Etsy store if you would like to see more of the miniatures Iâve made - all on my Glowforge. www.etsy.com/shop/DiamondMiniatures
These are fantastic! I love using art/mountboard too, itâs such a useful material. Now I have to go and look at your Etsy store.
You strengthen after the cut?
Welcome. You work is innovative and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of miniature lovers here! Your pieces are exquisite! The lamps are stunning!!
Wow! Those are amazing!
Yes - after the cut - let dry - then paint. Spray paint - too delicate for hand-painting.
Beautiful work! And welcome to the Community. Thank you for sharing!
we really need a WOW button! wonderful work
have you ever tried wood stabilizer to make the âboardâ more durable?
that is just stunning work there.
Is âwood stabiliserâ not just another name for âsanding primerâ?
Iâm in Cape Town so we often have different names for the same item.
