I need to cut a basic outline of a ukulele. Just the outline nothing fancy. I’ve purchased two different svg files from Etsy. When I upload either one into Glowforge there’s a solid etch line. When I take switch it to cut Glowforge shows a cut line on the inside and outside of the line. I’ve taken the files into Inkscape and selected the outline, gone to path then stroke to path then to path- break apart. Nothing happens. No inner path comes up. It just stays the same. I’ve had this stupid thing for 5 years and every time I go to use it there’s some sort of frustrating problem. They advertise it like anyone can use it but don’t tell you that it’s for graphic designers or people smarter than me. Can anyone help? I’m a teacher and need these for tomorrow. Been trying to figure it out all afternoon. I know if I subscribed and paid $250 I could just do the outline but there’s got to be another way. Any advice?
In Inkscape, in node mode, you should be able to see both lines and delete one. Alternatively, you can use the trace function of Inkscape to create an outline.

Thank you! I ended up just getting premium. Spent $250 to make some cardboard ukuleles for some second graders. It’s worth it but I’ll try that next time:)
