When I cut things out it always does a double cut so it is easier to get out.
Does anyone know a way to keep from cutting the second round?

The machine only does what the file tells it to. There is likely another copy on top of your design. What design software are you using?
In your design program select your design and drag it off to see if there isn’t another instance there.
Either you have an outside and inside line on your file, or two files on top of each other.
