Edit no working

hi is anyone having problems with using the text editing on the premium plan?
Everytime I select text, the screen goes white and blank and wont respond

lorne

Good morning,
I am also having the same problem, started last night. I took it as my system telling me to go to bed, but still not working this morning.

Ryan

so it appears that a few people are indeed having this same problem. hopefully we can get some help to fix this quickly.

Go to whatismybrowser.com, copy the link it gives you there, and paste here so support will have your browser information to start the troubleshooting process. (You’ve opened a support ticket by posting in this section, so they’ll be along soon to help out.)

Yes. Same thing happening to me right now

It’s working over here. My browser info: https://whatismybrowser.com/w/35MZ69P

WhatIsMyBrowser says my browser is out of date – maybe a browser update broke it?

I am happy yours is working fine. This is frustrating as it is the epicenter of my business operations. designs are no problem but the text still refuses to work. it goes straight to white screen.

Like I said, support will need to know your browser info – I provided mine because it’s another data point for them to know it’s working for me but not for you, not to say you’re not having an issue. It could help them with troubleshooting.

so I found that the problem arises when I try to use designs and text together. designs will work by itself and so will text by itself but not on the same print. This is still an inconvenience.

If you want to wait for support to ask for your browser info, then again for a response after you’ve provided it, then you’ll just be waiting longer.

If you provide that info now, then they can look at it when they check in to this discussion.

Same thing… White screen as soon as I try to add text or an outline. emailes customer support…now we wait. So frusterating, I have tons of orders!

I agree, this is very frustrating.

One might say it’s beyond frustrating.

For what it’s worth, I can reproduce it on my ChromeOS machine: whatismybrowser.com/w/Q7R68TF

Following the comments here, I opened an existing design that had a mix of cuts and engraves, and then as soon as I clicked the add text button, there was a brief hang followed by a blank white screen. I can go back to the design and I see placeholder text, but as soon as I touch it, the same happens. This in the console:

Glowforge

I’m so sorry for the trouble! The team is looking into this now and I’ll follow up as soon as we have an update.

Thank you
the problem happens when I try to use both designs and text together on same print.
I can use them independently but not together - text one print and design another.

Looks like it back up and running. Thank you support staff>

Thank you so much for following up with us and for your patience. After investigating further, the issue should now be resolved. I’m going to close this post for now. Should any new issues arise, please create a new forum post or email us at support@glowforge.com.
