Does anyone know if the GF will be able to engrave cobalt glass?
I suspect the answer is the same as for the other glass threads. Which I think a summary is:
Don’t use low speed too much heat due to thermal shock causing fractures.
You can probably score and snap.
Glass absorbs the frequency of the laser but not likely to cut through due to thermal issues.
You can do some nice etching using a masking material that you can laser off in your pattern and either a chemical etch or a sandblasting kit.
If I missed any I’m sure the smarter folk than I will jump in. Maybe they’re even better at linking to the forum threads that will really help you.

I would recommend trying it on scrap first; it might respond similar to Lead Crystal, which isn’t good. If it works, it would look pretty awesome.
