Engraving detailed logo on a PLASTIC 2ply nametag

I have hit a snag and spent hours and money trying to get my artwork right for laser engraving. Here are the steps I took BEFORE sending my file out to get cleaned up, as per the recommendation of someone else that has a glowforge:

Tried, speeds, powers and varying powers and the logo still came out bad. Then I had someone fix the files, but there are some areas that should be cleaner. I read that I should maybe vary my power, but I don’t have that option available anymore since my art file had been corrected.

I have no idea what to do. I’m willing to pay someone to fix my file, run a sample on their machine and provide me with the file and settings, ready to go! Please help. I’m at my wits end.

Thank you!

I removed ALL of the background from your image, which turned it into a raster. It should engrave quite well now, however… because you are engraving on what is likely extruded acrylic, it won’t turn out that well…plus engraving on two-tone acrylic can be problematic. My guess is that it wasn’t the file that was bad…it’s the material you’re using.

Since none of us can duplicate your material, we can’t provide you with a sample or any settings.

Best of luck to you

You can give this file a try, if you wish.
