Engraving pencils with the Aura

Hi everyone!

I recently purchased the Aura. What settings should I use when trying to engrave on wooden pencils? I see the settings for the standard glowforge is:
Speed: 340
Power: 15
Lines per inch (LPI): 340

It will probably take a bit of experimenting. Be prepared to sacrifice a pencil or two to get the settings right. If it were me I’d start with the Proofgrade settings for any of the hardwoods listed and adjust from there.

Also remember that if you don’t move the pencil, you can make a second or third try so you don’t waste material.
