Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to engrave a photo on wood that doesn’t look super blurry? When I Google it or Youtube it, I get a lot of buy this program or download this. I have Adobe Illustrator right now.

I just convert my pictures to grayscale in Inkscape, then adjust the brightness and contrast until it shows the details better. I am not sure what Adobe Illustrator calls it.
