I’ve payed for expedited shipping, what exactly does that mean? It cost me $19, I paid 4 days ago and it hasn’t left there building yet. So it will ship fast just not move out of the building any faster?
Not to point out the obvious, but if you paid 4 days ago (Saturday?) then the three day weekend wouldn’t count, as FedEx or UPS, whichever they end up shipping your item through, doesn’t ship on weekends or holidays (could be wrong when it comes to expediting…).
A point to your case, though, I have heard a few people paying for the expedited shipping and having it not be sent any sooner, just having it arrive sooner than it would have.

Actually paid early Friday, would have expected it to ship today but nope.
Expedited shipping gets you quicker shipping once the part or machine is available. You are paying the shipping carrier to get it to you faster.
(Glowforge doesn’t make anything on it, that goes to UPS or FedEx.)

Depends on what you ordered.
They don’t have a warehouse of parts sitting around waiting to be sold.
