When you go to export a file through Glowforge, the SVG file has all the steps ( for the glowforge) on the bottom of the SVG file. Is there a way to save a SVG file (from glowforge export) without all the steps on the bottom? Or is this how it saves? Or am I an idiot and making a simple mistake?

That’s how it saves, but i think when you load it back into the glowforge, that part goes away…i think. But you can ungroup it in your design software and delete it. It’s grouped, so if you ungroup the file once, you should be able to click the group and delete the whole set of instructions.
