Filter for the old gen 1 GF?

Its the very first gen 1 i have, the OG if you will.
So, ive moved and no longer have access to vent out a window even during summer, so i reeeally need to find a filter that works, im having problems finding one tho.
I live in sweden which complicates things, im open to any help or suggestions either from GF or other manufacturers.

The Glowforge filter replacements are available - but at $250 plus shipping to Sweden it’s kind of pricey.

The filter attaches by a 4"/10cm vent. Likely any laser filter would work. Are there any manufacturers who are local to you?

I hate to bring it up, but how long has it been since you used it?

If it is one of the first machines, you really are on borrowed time. Some are still running, but the tube was only expected to last 2 years - used or not. It’s an imperfect glass envelope that will leak over time.

I’d hate for you to spend good money on a filter, only to have the machine not work correctly when you get it set up.

A couple of months ago, tho i havent used it constantly, someone mentioned the xtool ap2 could work with an adapter, but im having trouble finding it for purchase or as an stl to print myself.

I certainly would be wary of purchasing anything you can’t source, and source parts for, locally - and by that, I mean with reasonable shipping and proven reputation for carrying items long-term…

As recommended, I disconnect the exhaust hose from the Glowforge when not in use to keep bugs, critters, etc. from gaining access to the interior. I actually have a Glowforge Performance Air Filter (from back when I picked up my OG glowforge) just sitting in the garage taking up space. I only used the unit a couple of times, as I wasn’t super satisfied with the filtering performance and I had a window nearby.

I don’t know what shipping from Omaha, NE, USA to you is, but since this filter is pretty heavy (~60lbs) I’m sure it won’t be cheap. If you’re willing to pay to ship it, I’ll be glad to have it out of my garage
