Finding note book materials

Hi, I’m making a guestbook for my cousins wedding in September. I’m engraving the front of the book on red oak or walnut. What I need to find is the spiral part and the pages. It was suggested to me to buy a notebook and unspiral it, but that won’t work for what I need. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Do a quick search of the forum for “notebooks”. You will find resources and ideas.

Thanks

Did you see my post in the last day or so in the Free Files section? I wrote about The Cinch machine I used to make notebooks for friends. It uses very nice 2:1 pitch wire bindings. Another GF user also linked to a post he wrote about notebook bindings you might helpful. If you can’t find it, let me know. The Cinch was around $75 on Amazon.

Ok, thanks for your help

Or you could stitch it. Not trivial, but it would look amazing.

another option is to hit up your local print shop. they should be able to punch/bind for you if you don’t have the materials/machine for a few dollars.
