This is a very simple stand that I whipped up today for my iPhone 7 using one of the community’s favorite memes about the game. I used Draftboard for the prototype and Medium Hard Maple Plywood 
for the finished stand. The slots are nicely snug with the 0.008" kerf adjustment I used.

I’m not familiar at all, yet, with kerf and how to adjust for it. I use Inkscape.
It’s “medium” Proofgrade plywood, which is the approx. 1/8" material.
