Forum tip: Discourse app for mobile

This forum runs on Discourse, which displays perfectly fine on mobile devices. But I went looking and found they also have apps:

And Android:

The display just uses the Safari or Chrome browser, so there’s no great benefit there, you get the same user experience as the mobile site. But you get real-time push notifications and the app icon updates with unread count, which is great.

The app just wraps a browser, so its pretty much worthless unless you want notifcations

I use it just for the notifications. I prefer to actually read the site in Safari.
