Forum user requests a Pro Model Update

Not sure that this really applies here, but a very good reminder none the less.

I think we have found that our interest and identification with the GF and what has been invested here can be a catalyst for strong and sometimes unguarded emotion (and the responses that creates). When it is joy and discovery, we revel in it with enthusiasm, but when it is impatience or fear, I think that sometimes results in unguarded words, postings that are not tempered with thoughts about not only what we are trying to say but also about how we say it and how it may be perceived by our neighbors here in GF land.

When in doubt, we might ask ourselves “What Would Mr. Rogers Do?”

They do not email out the monthly updates. If you want to receive them in an email, you can follow these instructions.

I seem to have gotten the April update in email, though I’d have preferred a PRU by FedEx.

Is the long-work-piece stitching feature working for example?

The software for it is not ready to share yet.

I just want to know if the core features of the laser engraver (hardware and software) are progressing fine.

We generally share work that’s complete, as we have with our latest update. We’ll continue to share updates every month or so, and post here with details even more often.

The fact that I did not receive an email alerting me to the April update (like the one I received when the Dec. 2016 ship date was changed), is concerning to me in and of itself.
