i’m sure you can do it with the right machine and the right settings. but can you do it well? i think that requires a pretty smooth, consistently shaped pumpkin and a pretty modded rotary tool. or comfort with defocusing.
It can be done. But it requires a “Face/Off” (Travolta/Cage) procedure.
Cut out the flat face of the pumpkin and reattach after lasering.

I was thinking of just tattooing the little baby punkins…then you could carve the results out.

I’m pretty sure some time in the first year @dan talked about using his first laser with a pumpkin. Never did give us photo evidence as I recall…
