not sure what’s happening here. i’ve cut this file successfully before. when i upload it to GF, objects move unexpectedly. save as, 5 decimals, no responsive, no layers. simple file. help appreciated.
“Something weird with the svg” is my official diagnosis. SVGs can be really odd.
It would be interesting to find out why but in the meantime I’d try it as a pdf. They tend to be pretty rock solid.

i don’t think i’ve seen objects actually move when exporting to SVG from Illustrator. is this the only file it’s happened to you with? if so, maybe for this one file, you can export to SVG and import. or, if you haven’t tried it, copy from illustrator and paste straight into the GFUI.
