Here are some giant wooden gears I made with a laser-cutter. They are pretty big. The board they are mounted on is 4 feet x 8 feet.

which I have installed in my house. (We also have one of the planetary gears steampunk lightswitches!)

I have to say, the cityscape you’re working on is also gorgeous.

I really like those light switches too. I was thinking of making a similar thing for my house.

Thanks for the compliment on the cityscape. I’m hoping to finish it in the next few weeks (assuming I can get some time on our library’s laser-cutter). Once I’m done, I’ll post a picture of the finished piece.

I can’t wait to get my own laser-cutter so that I can finish these pieces faster.
