I managed to get them fastened tight enough that it didn’t seem to loosen significantly while opening/closing it repeatedly. I imagine that it’ll loosen eventually, but opening/closing it a few dozen times didn’t seem to affect it.
A tiny drop of CA in the bottom / along the inside of the female side should be a permanent solution.

We used this for inspiration and made a version of it. On ours we removed the screw and added 2 more magnets. Made it a simple pop on and off lid that always lines up! Pictures coming soon.

So my question is, do you cut out the the hole for the card and then veneer the bottom to hold the card? Meaning a top, a middle and a veneer bottom?
