The tray is metal, so it is almost certainly undamaged except maybe the paint/coating.
The surround/lip and frame of the tray are plastic.

Right you are. I forgot that - I believe the top face at the back is metal though. Have to check.
Mine is plastic.
The only part that isn’t is the honeycomb bed itself. Well, and some screws.
Same, just the honeycomb is metal. Thanks for pointing that out.
