The Glowforge app seems to limit the cut size to 11". One of my intended uses is to cut game inserts for a standard euro box square: (288mm = 11.3").
The tech specs claim an 11.5" cutting area, but the app seems to limit the material cut to 11".

The actual cutting area is 19.5" x 11".

That’s one of the "to do"s they listed in the “do you want it now or would you like to wait until it cuts 11.5in?” email.
They’ve said they’ll get it to 20.4x11.5 someday.
We’ve made some small but important changes to the planned bed area of 12x20, and it’s a mix of good and bad news.
The bed area is wider and deeper than we planned (18" x 20.4") and we can accommodate thicker materials than planned (up to 2" with the tray removed instead of the 1.5" planned). However, our production units will have 11.5 x 20.4" working area, which is more width but less depth than planned. Also, the working area will be reduced somewhat when the laser operates at high speed, a…
To do: When the laser is moving at maximum speed, it needs room to slow down near the top, bottom, and both sides. We’ll be updating the software to compensate for that so it can give you more working space - up to 11.5" x 20.4" for slow movements like cuts; a little bit less for faster motions like engraves.

Thanks for the answer @xabbess and @markwal , that’s right. I’m going to close this thread - if you have any other questions, go ahead and post a new topic. Thanks for asking about this
