Glowforge stuck on Centering and carriage is not moving

I have checked the wifi and reconnected it to the WIFI.
I have cleaned the lens on the top with a glass wipe.
The glowforge is moving around and it just says centering in the app.

I am needing this fixed ASAP as I am working on a father’s day project for my husband.

Yes I have. I have left it on for over an hour and now the app states that it is scanning.

If it was previously stuck on centering, and now scanning, it’s either a wifi issue, or a cable issue.

You can rule out wifi by connecting the machine to a phone as a hot-spot.

yes I have - the print carriage does not move when I turn on the unit.
