My glowforge plus will start up and make the initial sound like it is going to start centering and such but will not. It is stuck on focusing. Everything is clean. I have reconnected my WiFi with no success. Please help. I have orders to do.

Have you tried moving the head directly under the camera before turning it on?

If you’ve tried that, then the fastest way is to see what support comes back with - they can review your logs and see what is causing it.
When the machines first came into existence, some of us learned to understand the logs which are detailed and comprehensive, and the errors shown there are very specific. It’s just a Linux computer under there…

Does your Glowforge show “offline”? If so, try going through the wifi setup using your phone as a hotspot.

Does the material you’re trying to cut have lots of holes, or is it highly reflective, or is there a window shining on the bed? Any of those can mess with focusing.
