Handwritten Notes to print

Hi there. I have some handwritten notes from my mom. For example a recipe for cookies. It was handwritten, but not exactly the best quality, and written in blue pen and on lined paper. I’d love to be able to get rid of lines, and to be able to “darken” her writing to be able to use my glowforge to etch onto a cutting board. How do I do this? Sorry for what may be a dumb question, but I’m new, and would love to have a memory of my mom via my glowforge. Thanks

Welcome.

You will need to choose an image editing application (Gimp is a popular free choice) then learn to use the various functions to clean up a scan of the notes as necessary.

Be prepared for quite a learning curve.

Welcome to the forum.

There are people in the various Glowforge users groups on Facebook that will convert your recipe for you, but you may want to learn how to do it on your own. Here is a thread by a long time Glowforge user that may help you understand the process.
