Hanging Planter - 1/2 Dual of Zonohedrified Octagonal Prism

Mom’s birthday tomorrow, and she asked for a hanging plant and planter. Same technique as designing and printing polyhedrals, this is a Dual of Zonohedrified Octagonal Prism cut in half.

Original w/ Birch. Changed to walnut with a decorative top.

It’s beautiful. I think swapping out the birch makes it look richer. Beautiful work!

The woods that you used gives a very rich look but the top edge treatment is my favorite touch. This and your bird house are some of my favorite projects.

Love this!!

Put in some type of plastic insert and this beautiful planter can be turned into an ice bucket for ice, chilled bottles of wine or champagne.

Beautiful! I thought it was much bigger in the initial photos. I appreciate your sharing the banana (hand) for scale.
