Mom’s birthday tomorrow, and she asked for a hanging plant and planter. Same technique as designing and printing polyhedrals, this is a Dual of Zonohedrified Octagonal Prism cut in half.
Original w/ Birch. Changed to walnut with a decorative top.
Created from Stella4D
Striking gift. I am sure she loves it.
It’s beautiful. I think swapping out the birch makes it look richer. Beautiful work!
The woods that you used gives a very rich look but the top edge treatment is my favorite touch. This and your bird house are some of my favorite projects.
That is gorgeous man. Perfect application of that geometry.
That turned out beautiful!!
She is sooo going to cherish that!
Thanks everyone. Here it is with plant.
As totally amazing as so much else I have seen of yours!
That turned out fabulous! I am sure she’s going to love it!
Wow! That’s really lovely!
How wide is it at the top?
That is such a cool design!
Put in some type of plastic insert and this beautiful planter can be turned into an ice bucket for ice, chilled bottles of wine or champagne.
That looks great! Nice work!
Beautiful! I thought it was much bigger in the initial photos. I appreciate your sharing the banana (hand) for scale.
Stunning. I love the look and the colors so much.
Yep, really beautiful. Love the connectors, and bottom printed insert, too. Now my wife is going to want one…
